In This Guide
Do Dham Yatra refers to the pilgrimage to two of the four sacred Char Dham sites in Uttarakhand — Kedarnath (dedicated to Lord Shiva) and Badrinath (dedicated to Lord Vishnu). With the introduction of helicopter services, the same yatra can now be completed in just 3 days — no trekking, no long drives, no waiting.
Nila Voyages offers a Do Dham Yatra by Helicopter package that handles every detail — helicopter transfers, VIP darshan, accommodation, meals, and all ground logistics.
Significance of Kedarnath & Badrinath
Kedarnath (3,583 m)
Kedarnath is one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and the highest among them. According to legend, after the Kurukshetra War, the Pandavas sought Lord Shiva's blessings. The present temple was built by Adi Shankaracharya in the 8th century. The temple opens for only six months each year.
Badrinath (3,300 m)
Badrinath is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and is one of the 108 Divya Desams. The temple is located on the banks of the Alaknanda River. According to legend, Lord Vishnu meditated here, and Goddess Lakshmi protected him by taking the form of a Badri (jujube) tree.
